Host hotels

Two hotels are holding rooms for the Vinita & Nate Wedding. Use the booking link so you get the group rate. The Marriott page header may read a little differently; it is the same block.

A room can be reserved up to the wedding if the hotel still has one. The dates on each hotel are the nights that group rate covers. The rate itself lasts only while that block is still open. None of these dates is a deadline to book or to attend. The only deadline is the RSVP on October 10.

Flying in on Wednesday, December 16? The Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Dallas McKinney is in McKinney, closest to the vineyard. The Courtyard in Allen covers the same nights if you would rather stay there.

The venue

Friday's Sangeet and Saturday's Wedding Ceremony and Reception are held at D'Vine Grace Vineyard in McKinney, Texas — about an hour north of downtown Dallas.

Getting here

Most guests fly into Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) or Dallas Love Field (DAL). Both are roughly 45 minutes to an hour from the venue, so book whichever is cheaper.

Guests traveling internationally should fly into DFW. It is the only one of the two airports with international service.

Our dates fall during the holiday travel season, when fares climb and flights fill up. Earlier flights are easier to find.

You will need a rental car. See "Getting around" below.

  • DFW — Dallas/Fort Worth International

    About 40 miles, 50 to 60 minutes

  • DAL — Dallas Love Field

    About 38 miles, 45 to 55 minutes

Other places to stay

The two host hotels above are the ones holding the Vinita & Nate Wedding rate. These other blocks and nearby hotels are if you would rather book on your own. November 17 on Home2 and SpringHill is the last day of the group rate, not a deadline to book a room or to attend. After that date a room can still be reserved up to the wedding if the hotel has one, at the hotel's regular rate.

If you'd rather book on your own, here are nearby options. Drive times are from the venue.

Vacation rentals

There are plenty of short-term rentals in the area if you're traveling with a group. A rough guide to where they are:

  • Northwest McKinney and Trinity Falls

    5 to 10 minutes

  • Historic downtown McKinney

10 to 15 minutes, walkable to restaurants and bars

  • Melissa, Anna, and Van Alstyne

10 to 20 minutes, best for large-group homes

  • Prosper and Celina

    20 to 25 minutes

  • Frisco

25 to 35 minutes, the most options

Getting around

D'Vine Grace Vineyard sits on rural acreage northwest of McKinney. There is no nearby transit, and rideshare can be slow to reach the property late at night. We recommend renting a car.

If you're driving up from Dallas, US-75 (Central Expressway) is toll-free the whole way. The Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) and the Dallas North Tollway are cashless toll roads, and rental agencies add a daily service fee on top of the tolls they bill back to you.
